When registering for a class, you choose one class, which meets once a week on the same day, at the same time!
This means you can join at any point during the year, and your child will remain enrolled in their class until they are ready to move up due to age or skill acquirement or you tell us otherwise
Our Parents & Peanuts program is designed for children between the ages of 18-months & 2-years old. Parents or guardians actively participate in the 30-minute classes alongside their little ones to help motivate their young athletes as they have fun learning, exploring, & discovering the world around them in a structured environment & under the safe guidance of Empire coaches
Empire’s Preschool program is for students between the ages of 3-years & 4-years old and is intended to help introduce basic gymnastics skills while also providing a jump start on balance, coordination, listening, & social development. During these 45-minute classes, young athletes navigate obstacle courses & participate in structured learning that uses a progression-based curriculum to build fine & gross motor control abilities
Our developmental program consists of recreational classes for girls & boys ages 5-years & up. Here, students are given the opportunity to learn basic gymnastics skills on all the applicable apparatuses (Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance, Beam, & Floor for girls and Floor, Pommel Horse, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars, & High Bar for boys) in addition to working flexibility, building strength, & developing coordination. Kids learn the fundamentals of gymnastics in a fun, energetic environment that celebrates accomplishments to foster self-esteem & confidence while still building upon on their underlying motor patterns for more advanced skills
Our Homeschool P.E. program is similar to our Developmental program. It is open to both boys and girls between the ages of 5- & 12-years old. Students learn basic gymnastics skills while working flexibility, building strength, & developing coordination. This 60-minute class also fulfills physical education requirements fo rmany homeschool programs.
We also offer a Homeschool Preschool class, which is a 45-minute class open to boys & girls who are 3- to 4-years of age
*Homeschool classes run from September to May*
Empire’s Tumbling program provides an opportunity for both girls & boys to focus on the floor exercise without using the other gymnastics’ apparatuses. Students use a variety of mats, the trampoline, & the Tumbl Trak to learn proper tumbling technique while simultaneously building strength, power, body awareness, & self-confidence to improve tumbling skills
SPECTacular Gymnastics is the newest addition to Empire’s programs and is for our students on the Autism Spectrum who might need a smaller group, quieter environment, or more direct attention to thrive! Beginner levels will focus on learning foundational gymnastics skills, strength building, & coordination exercises. Our intermediate level focuses on learning more advanced skills & participating in strength and coordination challenges, all while still having fun! Parents will be allowed on the gym floor if needed
*All participants must first speak with and be approved by our Progam Director to ensure proper placement
Whether you always wanted to try gymnastics, are seeking something new, or want to get back into the sport you loved, Empire offers adult gymnastics to satisfy the child in all of us! This class is designed for anyone interested in improving their fitness levels in a fun & different way. Come increase strength and flexibility through basic gymnastics movements with a focus on learning (or relearning) beginner through advanced tumbling skills
Empire is proud to offer a competitive gymnastics program for both girls & boys, with several options depending on your athlete’s current age, level, & goals.
Our girls' team trains & competes under the NGA organization, levels 1-10, as do our girls' competitive XCEL team.
Our boys' team trains & competes under the USAG organization, levels 4-10.
*Team participation is by invitation only
Private lessons are offered at Empire & are scheduled directly with individual coaches. One-on-one lessons are perfect for students who need a little extra time on a particular skill or for becoming more familiar & comfortable with gymnastics in general. They're also great while waiting for a spot to open up in a class!
Every new student is eligible to try classes risk-free! We want to give you & your young athlete a chance to see our facility, meet our coaches, see how classes operate, & determine if gymnastics classes at Empire are the right fit!
Within your first 30 days of enrollment, if your child doesn't enjoy their class enough to continue, you will be given a full refund for both the membership fee & tuition.
Upon your initial enrollment, all students must pay an annual $40 membership fee. For families with two or more children enrolling in classes, the first student pays the regular $40 rate, while each subsequent child pays $30 each.
Membership fees are good for 12 months beginning at the time of enrollment & automatically renew each year (as long as the student is active).
All of our programs operate on a rolling basis, which means classes & class tuition run month-to-month. Tuition is automatically drafted on the 1st of each month & is non-refundable.
Tution is not prorated except for students who enroll in a class mid-month.
Monthly tuition includes one class once per week, so approximately four classes per month. Certain months may have five or three classes, depending on how the calendar year plays out, federal holidays, and seasonal breaks.
Class tuition prices will increase annually by 5% to help keep up with inflation and increased cost of living
All new monthly tuition prices will take effect on the 1st of every calendar year.
All tuition is automatically drafted on the 1st of each month. However, if payment does not go through, you have until the 7th on the month to update your payment information with the office either online through our Parent Portal, over the phone, or in person.
If payment is not received by the 7th of the month, a $20.00 late fee will be applied to your account. Additionally, students are not permitted to participate in their class until tuition is paid in full.
We can pause enrollment for families for ONE month only without the student losing their spot in the class. There is a nominal $20 hold charge for the month.
After one month, if you wish to keep your child's spot in a class, you must pay full tuition. Otherwise, your student will be dropped to make room for the next child on the waitlist.
If at any time you'd like to take a break or discontinue participation, please contact the office so your student is properly dropped from their class.
It is important to provide the office with a minimum of one week's notice before the 1st of the month to ensure you don't get charged the upcoming month's tuition.
**Please note- If you do not show up for class three consecutive weeks in a row with no notification/communication with office, your child will be automatically dropped from their class.
There are NO refunds given if you miss multiple classes & do not notify the office
All classes start promptly at their scheduled times! If you are running late to bring your child to class, please contact the office ahead of time to let us know. Our classes (and the entire gym) follow a specific rotation schedule to ensure efficiency and that every group gets where they need to go each day.
For their safety and the overall structure of the class, if your child is more than 15 minutes late, they CANNOT join the class. By arriving 15 minutes or later after the start of class, your child misses the warm-up and instructions for the first rotation. Missing the warm-up increases the risk of injury. Furthermore, joining a class after the first rotation begins disrupts the flow of the class and serves as a distraction to the other students.
If your child is not permitted to join their class due to a late arrival, you can speak with the office to schedule a make-up class!
Tuition pays for your child's spot in a class & includes one make-up class per month.
Make-ups are offered when & where it doesn't interrupt the safety or quality of class for the students enrolled. Make-ups also depend on space, equipment, & teaching ratios.
You must call or email the office in advance to schedule a make-up class!
Make-ups do not carry over month-to-month.
